Albuquerque FSS to offer seminars for pilots

Ever wondered about the inner workings of the flight service system? Now is your chance to get answers. Beginning Thursday, July 17, the Albuquerque Automated Flight Service Station will host monthly evening seminars for the aviation community. The program will feature a tour of the operations floor and a classroom presentation by a flight service specialist. “Seminars that bring pilots face-to-face with flight service specialists can foster understanding on both sides, and that can generate a better flight service experience for everyone,” said Melissa Rudinger, AOPA vice president of regulatory affairs. Each free session accommodates 15 people, so reservations are required. For more information or to reserve your space, call 505/222-3000 between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., or send an e-mail.
