One of the longest, continuously operated flying clubs in NYS, Schodack Aviation has been in existence for over 50 years - since 1963. We are conveniently based at South Albany Airport (4B0). Our goals are to have well maintained aircraft and to make flying affordable. We are open to accepting enthusiastic new members - students, pilots, and returning pilots. Our members enjoy monthly meetings and flying together. We stay on top of places to go and keeping proficient.

The Club has a 1977 Cessna 152 and a 1975 Cessna 172 (IFR). Members pay monthly dues and a wet hourly rate based on the tachometer (includes fuel, oil, and winter preheat). We have both a hangar and a premium tiedown. Members use a phone/online scheduler that operates 24/7 - which makes it easy to amend reserved time on the 'road.' Members have taken Club aircraft to Oshkosh, Sun'N'Fun, and other exciting places.
