We landed our Cessna 140 here to escape some nasty winds from Hurricane Sandy's trailing edge. We were helped in every way. We got a courtesy car, and good recommendations to a hotel with good "pilot rates". They fueled us up with a fuel truck. Everything here seems to work. We are glad we stopped here for an overnight. We highly recommend this place.

Flying a Cessna 150 from western New York to Florida I stopped at several airports. Orangeburg Municipal was an example of what all GA airports should strive for. The FBO and ramp areas were clean and neat. Airport Manager Ron Kohler anticipated my needs offering their well maintained courtesy car overnight and recommended the best hotel during my trip having a low pilot rate. OGB is a good fueling stop for any GA aicraft.

Stopped here for fuel, food and refresh between western PA and central FL. Nice facility, shame it wasn't busier. Contacted FBO a week in advance about fuel and courtesy car policy. Fuel was very reasonable and everything was as promised, no surprises. Car was ready and waiting, plane was refueled while we went to get a bite. Highly recommend. Columbia approach very accommodating, no issues with clearances or getting in and out. Very down to earth, GA friendly attitude. Mickey, thanks for all of your help.

I stopped here flying a FDCT sport plane from Sarasota Fl on a Sunday. Had spoken to the Airport manager on Saturday. Airport terminal would be closed but I could help myself. He arrange for the courtesy car to be available and suggested a good hotel. On arrival car was there with keys and a map to the hotel. Hotel was $85 with plenty of nearby restaurants for dinner. Staff at the airport on Monday very helpful. I had a weather delay and rested comfortable pending my departure. If you need a stop in this location it would be hard to get better service than here. Fuel too was at a good price.

We stopped here overnight, landing after hours. They pre-arranged the courtesy car for us (very much appreciated !) and recommended the Country Inn, which is a great place, with an excellent pilot rate, but due to an event was full. Ruby Tuesday right next door was busy also. We stayed at the Econoline (was Quality Inn) for $59, but it was very run down, although clean. We ate at the Chestnut Grill which was nice and had good food.

Flew in for the night to visit family and was very impressed with OGB. Mr. Kohler was extremely helpful and let us have the courtesy car to go try one of his restaurant recommendations. Flight planning room and lounge were very nice. Fuel prices reasonable. Will definitely stop here again.
