Expo Off the Ground at Sebring Airport
By Bill Rogers
The U.S. Sport Aviation Expo's opening day on Jan. 22 at Sebring Regional Airport in Sebring, Fla., was well-attended despite the cold weather. "We're very pleased with the crowd," says Bob Wood, chairman of the event. "It was the best Thursday we've had." The first day featured powered parachute demonstration flights. In its fifth year, the expo is focused on light sport aircraft, Sport Pilot, and related LSA certificates. "Sebring has become a known location for purely light sport aircraft," Wood says.
