Collision avoidance in the air is one of the most basic responsibilities of a pilot flying in visual conditions. Just how do the flight crews of these military aircraft accomplish this? Wildlife and bird strikes occur every day all around the world. They are a very real hazards to all aircraft. FAASTeam Rep. and expert on avian risk hazard to aircraft, Gary Cooke will discuss this hazard and what we can do to minimize the risk. Breakfast will be served between 9-9:30 AM.
