Flying in to an AOPA Fly-In is the most fun way to attend, but you don’t have to bring an airplane to participate. We will provide special flight procedures for pilots, and great directions and parking accommodations for drivers.
Special Flight Procedures
Safety is a priority for any pilot, and flying into the AOPA Fly-In is no exception. Detailed special arrival and departure procedures have been developed, along with an FAA NOTAM to help guide you safely and efficiently in to the event. Please take the time to read this important information, which will be released approximately three weeks prior to the event. A special safety video will also provide a visual tutorial on the arrival procedures.
Come back to download your Pilot Information Packet and NOTAM for Camarillo here (will be available three weeks prior to the event).
For those who want a little less air traffic to deal with, consider landing at nearby Oxnard Airport, just seven miles to the west. Ground transportation to the fly-in will be available at key arrival and departure times. Details on operations and transportation at Oxnard will be available in the Pilot Information Packet approximately three weeks prior to the event.
Need to rent a car? Thanks to our partnership with Enterprise, we are able to offer AOPA members discounts on vehicle rentals. Reservations are required, and rental cars will not be available at the airfield without prior reservations.
