QUICK TIP
Looking for a sign? Maybe your customers are. Don’t assume “everyone knows where we are,” or that customers will wander around the airport—which may have restricted areas—in hopes of finding you. A single well-designed, well-placed sign, or a banner hung on a chain link fence, can direct them to your door.
SAFETY
Focused Flight Review makes good pilots better
If your customers have fallen into a pattern of the same old same old every 24 months, you can help them shake things up and get more out of their flight review. The AOPA Air Safety Institute’s Focused Flight Review series offers six ready-to-use scenarios with preflight study material and flight profiles. The topics are positive aircraft control; weather and controlled flight into terrain; fuel, engine, and other systems; instrument proficiency; takeoffs, landings, and go-arounds; and mountain and backcountry flying. See the website for additional information.
