Flight tests of the eFlyer (formerly Sun Flyer 2), which first flew with a Siemens motor on Feb. 8, have demonstrated energy efficiency that matches or exceeds design estimates at typical traffic pattern speeds during 12 flights since Feb. 12. | Chuck Aaron to open helicopter aerobatics flight school |
| Former Red Bull helicopter pilot Chuck Aaron will open a helicopter aerobatics flight school in North Carolina, according to Vertical magazine. Chuck Aaron Aerobatics will be based at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (JQF) in Concord, North Carolina. The school will offer an introduction to aerobatics course, and students will learn in Aaron’s MBB Bo.105 helicopter, which is certified for aerobatics. |
| Helicopter market healthy, despite uncertainties |
| A new five-year forecast of civilian helicopter purchases came in marginally lower than the 2018 in the face of an “inconsistent economic outlook” for global sales.
