Wings and Wheels - Hangar DayWings and Wheels - Hangar Day

Visit an art-deco gem and see some great planes and classy automobiles at the monthly Wings and Wheels fly-in from 11 am to 3 pm! Stop by the 1940 Air Terminal at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston for our monthly fly-in, bringing aircraft and car enthusiasts together at the original terminal at Hobby airport for a different theme. This month it's Hangar Day, highlighting the oldest building on the property, and the great aircraft and equipment that it houses. See our Lockheed Lodestar, our Cessna Bobcat, Sikorsky S-58 helicopter, Texaco Truck... and our improved simulator room! Fly in and your aircraft becomes part of the display as we provide a way for the public to get up close to real planes and talk to real pilots. You may inspire someone to get their own wings! Admission ($7 adult, $3 kids 12 and under) is waived for anyone who flies in or drives up in a classic car, as well as for their passengers. Back at the Terminal, we will have cars from Houston Area Pontiac Clubs, a collection of car collectors from clubs across Houston! A local roving food vendor will be by around lunchtime, and we will have a history presentation at 12:30. Any and all aircraft are welcome to the Museum ramp, located at a GA-friendly Class Bravo airport. Join us at Hobby and see what flies in!
