If you, a child or a friend is of college age and interested in pursuing a career in aviation here is an opportunity to learn more about perhaps the finest aviation centric college in the world. EAA 690's guest speaker for the March 7, 2015 1st Saturday Aviation program and Pancake Breakfast is Ms Hannah Key. Hannah is Associate Campus Director - Atlanta Area of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide. Hannah will discuss the degree offerings of the ERAU Worldwide campus, transfer credit that is given for professional training/endorsements (i.e. A&P license, pilot's license, etc), course modalities, and the history of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Key has been with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University since May 2013 as the Associate Campus Director of the Atlanta Area Campus. She has previously worked with students in higher education at Texas State University, University of Texas San Antonio, and Kennesaw State University. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs. Additionally, she has worked in public affairs for the federal government for the Bureau of Reclamation, the National Park Service, and completed national service as an AmeriCorps *VISTA. She is currently pursuing a Master of Aeronautical Science from ERAU Worldwide with a concentration in Aviation Operations and Aviation Safety. Aviation and space exploration are her passion - she is currently working toward her private pilot's license and gives talks on mental health and behavioral issues in long duration spaceflight. The March 7th program will begin at 10:30 and is open to all. An all you care to eat Pancake (and eggs, sausage and biscuits, etc.) Breakfast and/or refreshments are available beginning at 8:00 AM in the EAA Sport Aviation Center, 690 Airport Road, at Gwinnett County's Briscoe Field.
