November 13 – Dinner With a Slice of History LtCol Becky Ohm, first female fighter pilot in state of Ohio. Lieutenant Colonel Rebecca Ohm is the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Commander at the 180th Fighter Wing. LtCol Ohm started her career as a flight line crew chief in 1993. She became the first female fighter pilot at the 180th Fighter Wing and in the state of Ohio. She has been on several combat deployments and received the Air Medal in 2005 in support of Operation Northern Watch, Operation Southern Watch and Operation Iraqi Freedom. LtCol Ohm also became the first female fighter pilot in the state of Ohio to become an F-16 Instructor Pilot. Becky has combined her love of flying with an entrepreneurial spirit and in 2007 opened an aviation themed coffee shop, the Flying Joe, with her husband, in Perrysburg, Ohio. As a traditional guardsman, she has been able to balance her roles as a commander, business owner, wife and her most important role as mother of her son, Zachary, and daughters Olivia and Emily. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm with the presentation to follow. Tickets are $15 non-members, $13 members. Please RSVP soon- seats are limited!
