The 43rd Annual Copperstate Fly-in and Education Exposition will be held Thursday, October 22nd through Saturday, October 24th at the Casa Grande Municipal Airport located halfway between Tucson and Phoenix. The Fly-In is open to the general public. This event will raise interest and awareness in aviation and, it is our hope you can help promote the largest public aviation event in the Southwest.
Copperstate is a non-profit organization combining many aviation and non-aviation volunteer groups dedicated to promoting recreation, general aviation, education, and air safety. Our objective is to expose youth to future opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math. A variety of activities are planned for both pilots and non-aviation individuals to provide an educational experience that will enhance and build knowledge and skills. The public is allowed to walk among the many types of aircraft that fly in for the event. Past events have attracted more than 500 aircraft that fly in.
Copperstate relies entirely on volunteers and depends on a large volunteer workforce to run this event. Check our website at www.Copperstate.org for details of activities, forums, workshops, displays, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, aircraft, car and aircraft judging, exhibits, drone dome and aircraft rides. The site will continue to expand as the dates get closer.
