Guest speakers for the 1st Saturday in September Aviation Program and Pancake Breakfast will be Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brough. The 1942 Ford GPW Jeep owned by Robert and Jane Brough, was restored in 2013. It was manufactured in April of 1942 and is characterized by the Ford logo on the rear panel. The Jeep restoration is in tribute to Jane's father, Bernard R. Phillips Jr. of Leavenworth who served in WW2 in Germany with the 9th Army Air Force, 45th Air Depot Group commemorated by the front markings on the vehicle. The rear bumpers on the Jeep commemorate Robert's father, William Brough's service in the 2nd Army, Inspection in 1943. William lives in Smyrna and is age 92.
