AOPA employees joined with all Americans today in reaffirming their patriotism and pride in America. The 11:15 a.m. (Eastern time) ceremony, which included employees from AOPA neighbor Avemco, featured a heartfelt recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance (including the phrase "under God") while facing flags flying at half staff. Earlier, at 8:46 a.m., (the time of the first terrorist attack one year ago), AOPA employees had observed a moment of silence.
