Air Safety Foundation starts production on new maneuvering flight seminar

Videotaping for the new ASF "Watch This!" safety seminar on maneuvering flight started Friday at the well-known Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome near Kingston, New York. Featured hosts are wise old aviator "Buzz" McClanahan and his young new pilot friend, "Loopy," who will help keep the seminar entertaining while treating a very serious subject.

The two-hour seminar will debut in mid-September and run through 2004. Subtitled "Maneuvering Flight—Hazardous to Your Health?" it will provide fascinating insights on the hidden dangers of maneuvering flight, which annually accounts for more than half of all GA fatalities.

Included will be startling new ASF research on stall and spin accidents, as well as practical suggestions for pilots who wish to avoid being memorialized in NTSB statistics.

All ASF premier live safety seminars are open to all pilots without charge. A schedule of upcoming seminars is available online.
