Training news each week

With spring finally here, flight training is going into overdrive. You may be scheduling a flight lesson once or twice per week, and between sessions reading everything you can find about aviation.

Now you can receive flight training news that keeps up with the demanding pace of your training by subscribing to AOPA ePilot Flight Training Edition, a free weekly e-mail newsletter written specifically for student pilots. Each Friday morning, you'll get an e-mail newsletter that includes a feature article about a common flight-training issue, question, or problem. Unsure about how to preheat an engine in cold temperatures? Looking for suggestions on how to compute weight and balance for your training airplane? Challenged by crosswind landings? Each week's newsletter addresses issues like these, offering practical tips that you can apply during your next flight and links to additional resources on AOPA Online, the association's comprehensive Web site, and AOPA Flight Training Online.

As an AOPA Flight Training member, AOPA ePilot Flight Training Edition is yours free each Friday. If you do not currently receive the newsletter, visit AOPA Online any time to sign up. Scroll to the bottom of the application page and check the box under "Additional Newsletter." Or call AOPA at 800/USA-AOPA (872- 2672) any weekday between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Your AOPA Flight Training membership also includes free access to the members-only section of AOPA Online, where you'll find more than 40,000 pages of information ranging from aviation subject reports researched by AOPA's aviation services staff to articles that have appeared in past issues of AOPA Flight Training and AOPA Pilot. And, if you have questions about anything you've read on AOPA Online, call our Pilot Information Center toll-free at 800/USA-AOPA during business hours for an immediate answer -- or e-mail them from the Web site. They're a great resource that you can access easily between flight lessons.
