The 2005 AOPA Day Garmin Giveaway Sweepstakes Rules

1. No purchase necessary to enter or win.
2. The sweepstakes is open to all guests of and/or attendees at Sun 'n Fun on April 15, 2005. The sweepstakes is not open to employees of AOPA or Sun 'n Fun or EAA, their families, agencies or suppliers. The sweepstakes is open to EAA volunteers.
3. The total value of the prizes is approximately $4000.00.
4. The grand prize is a Garmin 296 GPS handheld unit. There are two (2) grand prizes. The first prize is an AOPA Wristwatch from Sporty's. There are ten (10) first prizes. All prizes will be awarded.
5. Only one prize per person or immediate family.
6. Winners will be determined by the following two methods:
   1. Method 1: Random Drawing: An entrant must completely fill out a supplied official entry form at the AOPA tent. Only the official entry form is an acceptable form of entry. Incomplete, unofficial or illegible forms - where the information may not be reasonably determined - are void and will be discarded. At approximately 5 p.m. on April 15, 2005, an employee of AOPA will select by random drawing six (6) entry forms. The first eligible form will be awarded the Garmin 296 GPS. The second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth forms will be awarded the AOPA Wristwatches from Sporty's. An additional twenty-four (24) forms will be drawn and used in the case any winner is ineligible. Winners need not be present to win and will be notified by mail and posted on the AOPA Web site. AOPA will ship at its expense the prizes to the winners upon verification of their eligibility.
   2. Method 2: Surprize Squad: An employee of AOPA will at random pick six Sun 'n Fun guests wearing an AOPA DAY sticker. The first five selected guests who meet the criteria stated in #2 above will each win an AOPA wristwatch from Sporty's. The sixth selected guest who meets the criteria stated in #2 above will win a Garmin GPS 296. Surprize Squad winners must be wearing an AOPA DAY sticker to be eligible to win. Stickers are available at the AOPA Tent and from Sun 'n Fun employees at the main ticket office. AOPA will ship at its expense the prizes to the winners upon verification of their eligibility.
7. Winners agree to be photographed at Sun 'n Fun by AOPA and have their names and likenesses used by AOPA at its sole discretion for the purposes of promoting the sweepstakes and AOPA DAY. Winners are solely responsible for any taxes that may be payable as a result of their winning. Winners must sign an affidavit attesting to their eligibility and confirming their identities and address.
8. Void where prohibited. Subject to all federal, state & local laws. Odds of winning determined by number of participants.
9. Limited liability. By participating in the sweepstakes, all participants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of AOPA and its employees, whose decisions regarding the sweepstakes shall be final. By accepting any prize, all winners agree that the prizes are awarded without any warranties, expressed or implied, and AOPA disclaims all such warranties, and further agree to hold harmless the officers, directors and employees of AOPA, their families, heirs and assigns (collectively, "AOPA") from any and all injuries or damages arising out of the use of the prizes. Any warranty regarding any of the prizes is strictly limited to the warranty and guarantee that may be assigned by the manufacturers.
