Connecticut adopts measure to help airports

Connecticut has adopted legislation that provides for the issuance of special tax obligation bonds, not exceeding $2 million, for the development and improvement of general aviation airport facilities, including grants-in-aid to municipal airports (excluding Bradley International Airport). The bill was passed during the General Assembly's recent special session and became effective July 1. AOPA had urged passage of identical legislation during the regular session.
