Nevada rural airports get support from state
Nevada Gov. Kenny Guinn signed Special Session Senate Bill 1, which will help improve rural airports. The bill appropriates $500,000 to an aviation fund to match money from the FAA for the enlargement, improvement, or maintenance of rural airports and air navigation facilities. AOPA had urged Guinn to sign the bill.
