AOPA Commander Countdown to make debut at Sun 'n Fun
AOPA Day set for Friday, April 15

Don't miss your first chance to see AOPA's 2005 Commander Countdown Sweepstakes grand prize, a Commander 112A. It will debut at Sun 'n Fun EAA Fly-In at Lakeland, Florida, April 12 through 18.

It will be parked right beside AOPA's big yellow tent, and you'll be able to get an up-close-and-personal look at our/your Commander's new paint scheme, instrument panel featuring the Chelton FlightLogic EFIS (electronic flight instrument system), and interior finished in neutral tones. (Follow the progress of the Countdown Commander on AOPA Online. See a 1.5-minute video of the upgrade work done in California.)

Make sure you attend AOPA Day, Friday, April 15. It kicks off the night before at 7:45 during a Pilot Town Meeting with AOPA President Phil Boyer at the Florida Air Museum Pavilion at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport.

AOPA members, plus a spouse and one other guest can receive $5 off their entrance fee on AOPA Day. However, the AOPA member discount cannot be combined with any other discounts. AOPA will be giving away two Garmin 296 handheld GPS and 10 watches from Sporty's Pilot Shop.

You'll also have numerous opportunities that day to speak with AOPA staff members, including Boyer, during informal Q-and-A sessions in a pavilion area next to the tent.
