The FAA is warning pilots flying out of New Jersey's Teterboro Airport to carefully adhere to published procedures to prevent midair collisions. In particular, the FAA is telling pilots to comply with the altitudes for the Teterboro 5 IFR departure procedure. Controllers said they have witnessed many altitude deviations, which are increasing the likelihood of midair collisions with arrivals to Newark Liberty International Airport.
