AOPA resources protect you in today's airspace
During a recent address at AOPA Expo 2005 in Tampa, Florida, Department of Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta urged pilots to be accountable for their actions in the air and to understand and comply with today's security requirements. AOPA and the AOPA Air Safety Foundation provide online resources to help pilots safely navigate today's rapidly changing airspace. The association also offers legal services to members who, despite careful planning and checking notams, inadvertently enter a pop-up temporary flight restriction (TFR). Members enrolled in the AOPA Legal Services Plan can take advantage of free consultation and assistance on aviation legal matters, including TFR violations.
