At this year's AOPA Expo in Palm Springs, California, there will be more seminars than ever to choose from. Be the first to see the AOPA Air Safety Foundation's latest seminar, "Radio Communication," as it makes its debut.
More than 70 hours of seminars are being offered. Whether you have a question about aircraft ownership, proficiency, or safety, you can bet at least one of those seminars will have the answers you need. You can design your own Expo schedule on AOPA Online and print it out as a reference during the show so that you won't miss a thing.
The Air Safety Foundation's other seminars include "Emergency Procedures," "Do the Right Thing: Decision Making for Pilots," "Single-Pilot IFR," "Weather Wise: Practical Tips and Tactical Tricks," and "GPS: Beyond Direct-To."
Want to know about using the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) in IFR conditions? Or how about free graphic weather datalinks? There are seminars for that, too.
As with previous AOPA Expos, aviation humorist Rod Machado will tell a few tales, and medical experts will offer advice getting your medical back after a heart attack.
In addition to all the seminars, there will be a special high-definition screening of the movie One Six Right. The showing is free and will be in 5.1 surround sound.
Expo takes place from November 9 through 11. For complete Expo information and to register, see AOPA Online's special Expo Web pages.
