Air Safety Foundation donation at Oshkosh
It wasn't the only contribution to the AOPA Air Safety Foundation last week but perhaps the most unusual and bittersweet.
EAA Chapter 853 of Akron, Ohio, gave $1,000 to the foundation "because of the great work they do to keep all of us safe," said Chapter President Mark Ohlinger. Sadly, the chapter is disbanding, and the members are disbursing the remaining funds to worthy causes.
