Missouri pilots who use auto gas supplemental type certificates will still be able to get nonethanol-blended fuel for their aircraft even if Gov. Matt Blount signs a bill requiring some level of ethanol blending. That's because AOPA Midwest Regional Representative Bob Dickens worked alongside others in the aviation community to ensure the availability of nonethanol-blended gasoline for STC users. The bill initially exempted only aviation fuel from blending requirements, but responding to concerns from pilots, the bill on Blount's desk also exempts automotive gasoline used in aircraft and all premium gasoline.
