Help keep GA strong! Bring a friend to the meeting

Phil Boyer
AOPA Project Pilot

Remember your first flight in the left seat? Your first solo? The breathtaking views of a gorgeous fall morning? These are a few of our favorite things, all part of the passion we have for flying. How can you share your passion for flight?

It's as simple as bringing a friend to a meeting, particularly for pilots in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., area.

AOPA President Phil Boyer is hosting a Pilot Town Meeting tonight at the University of Maryland's Inn and Conference Center in Adelphi. Why don't you bring a friend, someone who's interested in learning how to fly?

While you're in with Phil, getting the latest on user fees and other important general aviation issues, your friend can attend our Invitation to Fly session.

Aviation humorist, author, and AOPA Air Safety Foundation presenter Mark Grady will gently lead them through the flight training process from first flight to first passenger. The one-hour, free seminar will show your "wanna-be" pilot just how easy, exciting, and fun it is to learn to fly.

It may be just the spark they need to get started.

The Invitation to Fly session is just one part of AOPA's Project Pilot program, helping you share the passion of flight and ultimately making GA stronger through the power of numbers.
