Textual weather added to AOPA's Airport Directory Online
Planning a flight? Now when you gather pertinent airport information from AOPA's Airport Directory Online, you can also get a picture - so to speak - of the weather. Real-time METARs and TAFs have been added to the directory. Select an airport in the directory that you want to visit, and the METAR for that airport (if available) will appear on that facility's main page, along with a sectional chart, taxiway diagram, runway lengths, fuel information, local attractions, and more. Click on the METAR information to see the decoded version and the TAF, if one is available for that location.
