Airlines reporting to AIR, Inc. hired 1,046 pilots during May. National airlines, with $100 million to $1 billion in annual sales, led in hiring with 614 new crewmembers, said the Atlanta-based firm. Major carriers (more than $1 billion in sales) hired 148.
