Legally speaking

AOPA offers a customized service to assist its 409,000 member pilots with aviation legal issues. For $29 per year for the private pilot, AOPA offers membership in the AOPA Legal Services Plan. Covered services are provided by a panel of aviation attorneys and/or the legal services staff. For most covered matters members can use a non-panel attorney if preferred.

From FAA enforcement actions to aircraft accidents and airspace violations, AOPA's Legal Services Plan is a partner that will fly with you and assist you with any legal issues you may encounter. Members can utilize unlimited consultation with AOPA's legal staff on most matters covered by the plan, participate in an annual review of key aviation documents, and more.

Join the Legal Services Plan and take advantage of the peace of mind that comes from knowing you have legal assistance to help protect you from FAA enforcement action. For more information on plan coverage, visit the Web site or call 800/872-2672.
