AOPA "Learn to Fly" session at upcoming Women in Aviation conference
If you're attending the Women in Aviation, International conference from February 15 through 17 in Orlando, Florida, consider bringing along someone you know who is interested in learning to fly.
AOPA Pilot Technical Editor Julie Boatman, an experienced flight instructor, will share what it takes to get started in flying and what to expect in her "Learn to Fly" session at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 15. Afterward, Julie and other women pilots will stick around for an informal Q-and-A session.
It's all part of AOPA's Project Pilot program to help grow the pilot population and make general aviation stronger.
