Boyer to discuss FAA funding, boosting pilot population

Boyer to discuss FAA funding, boosting pilot population

How would user fees and bigger avgas taxes on general aviation affect your flying? Find out directly from AOPA President Phil Boyer at Sun 'n Fun during his Pilot Town Meeting at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, at the Florida Air Museum Pavilion in Lakeland. He'll tell you what the FAA and Bush administration are proposing and what your association is doing to win the FAA Funding Debate. Boyer will also discuss ways to increase the pilot population. And you can play an important part in finding new pilots. Bring a student pilot with you to Sun 'n Fun and sign yourselves up for AOPA Project Pilot. If you and the student pilot sign up at the entrance gate from April 17 to the 20, the student will get in for free that day (a $30 value). See the official rules for more details.
