Huskies, Mustangs, and Cubs are all corralled at AOPA Expo's aircraft display — tied, down, and open for inspection.
Hundreds of AOPA members have perused more than 80 aircraft on display. Many exhibitors are giving pilots the chance to hop in the cockpits of aircraft for a better look.
Aircraft like the Pilatus PC-6 on floats are attracting spectators because of their size. The Pilatus, with auxiliary fuel tanks under the wings that resemble torpedoes, towers near the light sport aircraft display, featuring aircraft like the Thorpedo T211 and Sting Sport.
