AOPA, Smithsonian exhibit features historic cockpits
Come get a unique perspective on cockpits from some of the world's most impressive aircraft and spacecraft. Sponsored in part by AOPA, the Smithsonian traveling exhibit, "At the Controls: The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum Looks at Cockpits," runs from Sept. 29 through Nov. 25 at the Florida Air Museum on the Sun 'n Fun grounds in Lakeland, Fla. AOPA will provide information and materials from its PATH to Aviation series that helps connect aviation to everyday classroom topics, as well as introduce students to career options in the cockpit and throughout the aviation industry.
