AOPA members get $20 rebate on Professional Edition of 'Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000'

AOPA members can now get a $20 rebate on the Professional Edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000.

The new Professional Edition includes more features and tools for real pilots who use the industry’s most popular flight simulation software. Included are two high-resolution, extra-large instrument panels for IFR training and proficiency plus instrument panel editor, flight dynamics editor, and an expanded manual.

Also included are two additional aircraft (Mooney Bravo and King Air 350) and six additional cities (Boston; Washington, D.C.; Seattle; Berlin; Tokyo; and Rome).

The Professional Edition package includes discounts on FlightSafety International add-on products, King Schools training videos, and Cessna’s CD-ROM training package.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 contains exclusive content from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and is supported by a special AOPA Flight Training Web site.

Launched late last year, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 features new 3-D scenery graphics, new airports and cities, new weather features, and GPS navigation. Flight Simulator 2000 added the Boeing 777 and Concorde to Microsoft’s previous “fleet” ranging from the Cessna 182, Extra 300S, Lear 45, and Boeing 737-400 to the Bell JetRanger, Schweizer 2-32, and Sopwith Camel.

AOPA members can obtain the $20 rebate by printing out the rebate form in the members-only section of AOPA Online.

The form, required proof of purchase, and a dated sales receipt are then mailed to a special Microsoft address.

The Microsoft rebate offer expires on September 30, 2000, and is valid only in the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. It is not valid in combination with any other Microsoft offer or rebate. Limit one per address.
