Web-based service for pilots with mobile devices

Hilton Software, LLC recently introduced PIC Brief, a free Web-based service for a desktop, laptop, or mobile device. PIC Brief provides pilots with current METARS, TAFs, animated radar, NACO charts, VFR sectionals, and IFR en route charts. The service also contains a wealth of airport information, including runway information, FBO services, communications frequencies, and more. The site has a quick and easy user interface, meant to increase the compatibility with mobile devices.

Hilton Software produces a number of popular mobile products, and PIC Brief fits into that line. It is compatible with all browsers, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, and iPhone.

“PIC Brief compliments our market-leading WingX® for Windows Mobile and WingX® for BlackBerry products and intelligently optimizes the user experience for iPhone and iPod Touch users. We are very excited to extend our aviation information services to desktops, iPhones, and other mobile devices,” said CEO Dr. Hilton Goldstein.
