Airline pilot hiring remained strong in November 2007, adding 1,092 new jobs. This brings the 2007 year-to-date total to 12,231--nearly double that for the same period of 2006, said Atlanta-based AIR, Inc. National carriers once again led the hiring, with 571 new pilots; the major carriers added 228.
