Born-again T210s

Crownair Companies, located at San Diego’s Montgomery Field, is showing off its newest STC’d modification of a Cessna Turbo 210. It’s called the “Centurion Edition T210.” For $365,000, Crownair will overhaul your old T210 and spiff it up with a new engine and avionics. The upgrade package is extensive.

First off, your old engine is replaced with a RAM conversion of a turbocharged Continental IO-550 engine. Your old propeller is replaced with a Hartzell scimitar prop.

As for avionics, an Avidyne EXP5000 primary flight display is installed, along with an Avidyne EX500 multifunction display. A Garmin 530/430 nav/com/GPS is also part of the package, as is an Avidyne MLB700 datalink receiver for inflight weather and Sirius satellite radio. A JP Instruments EDM-930 engine monitor is also included, as well as dual Garmin GTX 327 transponders, an S-TEC System 55X autopilot, new engine mounts, new engine controls, new windshield and side windows, and a fuel selector overhaul. New paint and interior rounds out this massive modification, and new seat tracks and a standby alternator can also be ordered. Click here for more information.
