Sporty's Pilot Shop and MBNA help reduce cost of flying for AOPA members with 5 percent discount on products

AOPA members can now get a 5 percent discount on any item purchased from the Sporty's Pilot Shop catalog with the AOPA Visa or MasterCard from MBNA. The new discount is an additional benefit which complements the 5 percent FBO rebate already available to AOPA members who use the AOPA credit card for any purchase up to $5,000 at a qualifying fixed-base operator.

"AOPA is always striving to help pilots reduce the cost of flying," said Phil Boyer, AOPA president. "Now AOPA members can save money on essential pilot supplies, training materials, and the AOPA Insignia Collection at Sporty's."

Sporty's has been bringing AOPA members AOPA Insignia merchandise since 1987. Each item proudly displays the AOPA wings and allows pilots to show their support for AOPA and general aviation.
