Pilots in the Asheville, N.C., area are urged to tell the FAA how plans to expand Class C airspace could affect them. The FAA will have an informal airspace meeting Oct. 14 to hear comments on its plans to expand the Class C airspace around Asheville, reducing the floor altitude of the airspace and fully encompassing the glideslope for approaches to Runway 16 and Runway 34 at Asheville Regional.
