Owners, operators, and pilots of Embraer’s new Phenom 100 light jet can now take advantage of the first Phenom 100/300 simulator at the company’s training center at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Training for the Phenom series is conducted under a joint venture between Embraer and CAE, dubbed Embraer-CAE Training Services. A second training facility, in Burgess Hill, United Kingdom, will soon commission the second Phenom 100/300 simulator.
The Dallas training center is the world’s largest corporate aviation training center, with 36 FAA-certified Level C and D simulators. When Phenom 300s enter into service later this year, the Dallas and Burgess Hill centers will offer training in this aircraft type as well. To date, some 18 Phenom 100s have been delivered worldwide. Embraer has said it will deliver 110 Phenom 100s in 2009. For more information on Phenom training, visit the Web site or e-mail Embraer-CAE.
