Pratt hot section inspections at Wichita Citation service center

Cessna’s Citation service centers will add a new capability: performing hot section inspections on Pratt&Whitney Canada JT15D and PWC 500 series turbofan engines. Starting in April, an arrangement with Dallas Airmotive will let engine repair teams work on these engines at Cessna’s huge Wichita, Kan., service center. All Cessna-owned or -operated Citation service centers will have access to the new Wichita engine repair station.

“With this arrangement, our customers have yet another option when they bring their Citations to us. It will save money and time by reducing turnaround times,” said Mark Paolucci, senior vice president of customer service. “It also gives Cessna dedicated engine specialists for more than 3,000 Citations including the Citation I/II series, Bravos, Ultras, and the Excel/XLS series.”
