Daher-Socata launches FAST co-ownership program

Buyers of Daher-Socata’s TBM 850 single-engine turboprops can now take advantage of a partnering scheme that can accommodate up to three different owners. The Fly and Share your TBM (FAST) program is designed for low costs of ownership, better utilization of capital assets, and professional management, Daher-Socata says. The worldwide program is administered through the company’s international distributor and support network.

Under the program, owners will be provided a minimum of 100 days of exclusive use, with unlimited flight hours. Included in the program is online flight scheduling, maintenance, chart and database subscriptions, and a single-contact source for assistance. Additional services include flight training, hangar storage (in some locations), car rental, and insurance. All maintenance is performed in factory-approved and FAA-certified repair stations. Daher-Socata says that FAST will ensure predictable costs over the duration of the program. FAST differs from traditional fractional ownership programs that require the purchase of annual flight hours that are lost if not used.

“FAST provides an unmatched opportunity for customers to fully benefit from the world’s fastest, highest-flying single-engine turboprop aircraft, at a fraction of the purchase price,” said Nicolas Chabbert, president of Socata North America. The TBM 850 has a maximum cruise speed of 320 KTAS at 26,000 feet msl in ISA conditions.
