First Lineage delivery

Embraer Lineage 1000 jetEmbraer announced the first delivery of its Lineage 1000 ultra-large business jet, to His Excellency Aamer Abdul Jalil Al Fahim of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The jet will be managed by Prestige Jet of Abu Dhabi and will be on display at the upcoming European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) taking place May 12 to 14 in Geneva.

The Lineage is based on Embraer’s E190 airliner, and can be configured to have as many as 19 seats. A wide variety of seating and interior options is available, thanks to the airplane’s five distinct cabin zones. Up to three lavatories—and even a stand-up shower—can be accommodated.

The Lineage comes with Honeywell’s Primus Epic avionics, fly-by-wire flight controls, and two General Electric CF34-10E7-B engines of 18,500 pounds of thrust each. The airplane can cruise as fast as Mach 0.82 and as far as 4,500 nm.
