A new addition to the Summit festivities is the AOPA Meetups area. The Meetups area will feature 30- to 45-minute presentations, meet-and-greet sessions, and more, hosted by a diverse array of individuals, groups, and organizations. At the Meetups area, AOPA staff will present upcoming enhancements to the AOPA Internet Flight Planner (AIFP); Patty Wagstaff will host a meet-and-greet session; and the Flying Physicians Association will share its organization’s mission.
There are two options for attending meetups—in-person at Summit, Booth 1045 in the Tampa Convention Center exhibit hall, and online at the AOPA Live Web page. Online attendees can watch live video of the Meetups area and will have the opportunity to ask questions and post comments during sessions.
