"AOPA Pilot" writers, editors bring GA perspective to AEA convention

AOPA Pilot writers, editors bring GA perspective to AEA convention

Apr. 2, 2004 - Writers and editors for AOPA Pilot magazine spent much of this past week at the annual convention for the Aircraft Electronics Association, which represents all the folks who make and install the "whiz-bang" gadgets for your panel. Their reports on products and announcements at the convention are available to AOPA members online.

Situational awareness seemed to be the name of the game at this year's convention, with a number of manufacturers unveiling equipment to bring air traffic and weather information directly into the general aviation cockpit.

If you're not a member, joining online is easy and automatically enters you to win the AOPA 2004 Win-A-Twin Sweepstakes grand prize, a better-than-new 1965 Piper Twin Comanche.
