Apr. 27, 2004 - AOPA President Phil Boyer will be in Minneapolis on Thursday to tell the Metropolitan Airport Commission to treat general aviation fairly. Hell speak at a special meeting of the MAC called to address issues at the six reliever airports run by the commission. Specifically, Boyer will speak out against excessively high rates and fees proposed for the airports, and against a Northwest Airlines challenge to the longstanding practice of treating Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and the reliever airports as a single system.
The meeting is at 1 p.m. CT in Room 3040 of the Lindbergh Terminal at MSP. AOPA urges any member who can attend to do so and show support for general aviation.
