GA accounts for three out of every four flights in the United States and carries more than 166 million passengers annually - more than any single airline. GA touches virtually every American each day; not just those who've earned their wings. GA makes important contributions to the economy and vitality of local communities and our nation, with public services such as air ambulance, Civil Air Patrol, and charity flights.
AOPA Expo 2005 is a gathering of thousands of pilots and aviation enthusiasts who've learned the thrill of taking to the sky on their own.
After registering for your credentials, you can get more information or schedule media interviews and photo opportunities by calling 301/695-2162. Visit AOPA's Web site at www.aopa.org/expo/ for additional details.
With more than 405,000 members, representing nearly two thirds of all pilots in the United States, AOPA is the largest, most influential aviation association in the world. AOPA has achieved its prominent position through effective advocacy, enlightened leadership, technical competence, and hard work. Providing member services that range from representation at the federal, state, and local levels to legal services, advice, and other assistance, AOPA has built a service organization that is without peer to any other in the aviation community.
