Meteorlogix helps pilots get to AOPA Fly-In

June 2, 2004 - Pilots planning to fly to Frederick, Md., for the 14th annual AOPA Fly-In and Open House this coming Saturday will have an extra weather tool at their disposal, thanks to Meteorlogix, the providers of the weather for AOPA Online. They're making their premier subscription weather planning site, FlightBrief, available free of charge through AOPA Online for the week before and the week after the AOPA Fly-In.

Once at AOPA headquarters, pilots and aviation enthusiasts will have an opportunity to wander among some three dozen aircraft on static display in front of AOPA headquarters, or among some 100 vendor displays under the big-top tent behind AOPA. Inside the headquarters building, visitors can stop and chat with AOPA staff members or attend any of 11 hours' worth of aviation seminars.

The 14th annual AOPA Fly-In and Open House takes place this Saturday, June 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Frederick Municipal Airport in Frederick, Md. Admission is free and open to all. Local vendors will have a variety of food and drink for sale. Arrival procedures and driving directions are available online.
