Mustang gets new interior option

New interior options for Cessna's Citation Mustang Cessna is offering a new interior option for the Cessna Mustang called the High Sierra Edition. It was unveiled during EAA AirVenture.

It features special luxury editions of the three currently offered interiors, a special paint scheme, a Garmin G1000 with Synthetic Vision Technology, electronic charts, locking fuel caps, and a unique service and parts programs.

“The special High Sierra Edition gives our customers more luxurious interior and exterior options to outfit their Mustang,” said Roger Whyte, Cessna’s senior vice president of sales and marketing.

The Citation Mustang is the world’s first fully certified entry-level business jet. The program was announced at the 2002 National Business Aviation Association convention, and the aircraft made its first flight in April 2005.

Coming in at slightly more than $3 million (2010 delivery), the Mustang features Garmin avionics, Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, and a maximum 1,200-nautical-mile range.
