AOPA Live tops one million views in 2010

Video service expands storytelling, information-sharing possibilities

AOPA Live, AOPA’s newest way to communicate with pilots, saw phenomenal growth during 2010—its first full calendar year—topping one million views for the year. What began as a way to share the experience of attending the AOPA Aviation Summit has grown into something much larger, with 1,065,000 views.

“From safety and policy videos to features that expand on content in AOPA’s flagship magazine, AOPA Pilot, the variety of topics offered has struck a chord,” said AOPA President Craig Fuller. “AOPA Live has given us the opportunity to provide pilots with a richer experience and address topics that clearly interest them. We look forward to continuing, and even expanding, AOPA Live in 2011.”

In addition to the features offered throughout the year and extensive coverage of the AOPA Aviation Summit, AOPA Live is also there at other major general aviation events of the year, including Sun ’n Fun in Lakeland, Fla., in April, and EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wis., in July.
